About us

Online since 16 March 1999,

Missing-lynx.com was created to fill a gap in the market for a high quality, intelligent, AFV model-making community website. My goals have always been to maintain the highest standards in quality website content, as well as a strong commitment to group oriented historical research and sharing of information. I believe that we have remained faithful to these concepts since day one.

Andrew Dextras - Founder, Missing-lynx.com website

In December 2002 Osprey Publishing took over the daily running of the Missing-lynx website, and in January 2006, Brett Green took management of the site.

During this period Missing-Lynx has continued to thrive. In a typical month Missing-lynx now serves over 1,300,000 page views, 145,000 distinct hosts and transfers 200 GB of data. This doesn't include figures for our popular discussion boards; the heart of our community. Our discussion boards receive 2 million page views and over 12,000 posts in a typical month, and are hosted by discussion group service provider network54.

Missing-lynx remains dedicated to serving the AFV model making community and we hope you enjoy the site.
