British Cromwell Centaur Mk IV, Royal Marines Armoured Support Group, in Normandy, June 1944. The Model is from Tamiya amd built straight from the box with Tamiya photoetch screens added. It was painted using Tamiya acrylics and weathered with a combination of enamel/oil washes and drybrushing with enamels. Final weathering was added with chalk pastels. Crew figures: the Commander and Loader are Tamiya figures modified with Ultracast heads. The Driver is from Ultracast's North Africa crew figures set and the Co-Driver is from Resicast, modified with a Hornet head. External stowage is a mixture of Accurate Armour, Verlinden, Resicast and some home-made accessories. The model was built by Adrian Laycock and photographed by Malcolm Laycock.
