This represents one of the last versions of the German heavy armoured scout cars (Fu).
The mottled pattern on this particular vehicle was uncommon but wartime photos do exist
of this scheme used by a Pz. Auft. Abt. attached to a Pz. Grenadier Division serving in Italy
late war (but I could be corrected on this - the emblem appears as a 5-pointed star with an "A"
inside and seperately a white arrow pointing upwards).
The kit is Tamiya's classic 232 8-Rad with the New Connections conversion. The mottled pattern
was an experiment of sorts applied with brush and oil paints onto an enamel base.
