M15A1 GMC

Tony Hammes

Here is an M15A1 GMC I converted or scratch built depending upon the definition. It started as a TAMIYA M3A2. I kept the cab and suspention.  The rear of the cab, fuel tank, ammo lockers and rear bed were all done with  sheet plastic. The gun tub is completely scratch built. Only the .50 cal MGs and 37mm rounds came from the spares. The mount is made from sheet  plastic with a PE tread plate flooring. The mount is made of everything from a hand carved resin cradle, brass barrel, PE gun sights and lots of  sheet plastic. I finished it off with at Edward PE set. There was about four years of work into this.
