Eduard German Pz. IIIL, 1/35-scale photo-etch (TP047)

by Frank De Sisto

The Eduard Zoom sets are designed to be low-cost alternatives for modelers who may wish only to have such things as mesh screens on their kit, without having to spend money on the more extensive sets available for a particular model.

To that end, this set includes several basic parts unique to the Pz.Kpw. III as recently produced by Tamiya. The engine air intake and exhaust vents get the mesh screens, while the remainder of the hull gets lifting hooks as well as head and tail lamp mounts. The turret gets a vane sight and AAA machine gun mount for the cupola as well as lifting hooks and details for the stowage box.

If the modeler has the Eduard Zoom set for tool clamps, then he pretty much has all that will be needed for a nicely detailed finished model, at an expenditure that will not break the bank.
