Eduard German SdKfz 184 Elefant/Ferdinand turned aluminum gun tube (34007)

by Frank De Sisto

This accessory consists of a single piece turned aluminum gun tube, with integral muzzle brake. It is keyed to fit the recent DML Ferdinand/Elefant kits, but ought to be adaptable to the older Italeri kit as well. Furthermore, the tube is the same one-piece type as seen on some of the early production Krupp turrets (still universally, and still erroneously, referred to as the Porche turret) mounted on the Tiger II.

It is cleanly turned and also has slot detail cut into the muzzle brake. This is a simple, (although relative costly) time saver and ought to find wide among those who prefer this kind of accessory.

Recommended.
