FirstLook
Occasionally,
Eduard comes up with an abbreviated etched set in their “Zoom”
series that might prove to be just what the doctor ordered. In the
case of the original release of the very well-done DML T-34 Model
1940 kit (which had no etched engine deck grills and screens), this
item is heaven sent.
It consists of the large screen and
frame for the engine deck, as well as some separate details for it.
There are also loops and belts for the tow cable ends, head-lamp
mounts, fender details and tail-lamp details. The final item is a
blade for the shovel as well as a belt and bracket to attach it to
the model. This set will be very useful to those who may wish to
build the DML kit bare of most of its external stowage, a not
uncommon sight when these tanks were employed.
Recommended.
Thanks to Eduard for the review sample.
