Eduard continues to re-do their older releases and this new PE set contains 2 large sheets, 2 small sheets, a printed instrument panel and a great set of Express Masks. The main eye catching feature of the M16 has to be the quad .50 cals and as such a good portion of the delicate assemblies of the set is dedicated to superdetailing this area. These parts will add a lot of finesse to this area of Tamiya's "mature" kit. The remainder of the parts (and there are quite a few of them) include a nice set of windshield wipers, instrument panel, pedals, light guards, jerry can rack, rear fenders, drop down sides and tool fittings. The Express Mask portion of the set contains US stars for the complete vehicle, including a really clever star mask which has been precut to fit over the slatted front grille. Great thinking on Eduard's part! Overall, this set will add a great deal of finesse to the old Tamiya kit. Highly recommended. |
