Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf. E/F & German Motorcycle and Sidecar	Tamiya, 1/48 scale

Description

This is is Tamiya's new 1/48 scale Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf. E/F and the recent German Motorcycle and Sidecar - actually a BMW R75.

I have added some stowage to lend interest and variety to the otherwise grey vehicles.

The green packs and tarps are made from Kneadatite two-part epoxy putty, the jerry can rack was scratch built from thin Evergreen plastic strip, and the other stowage items are from various Value Gear, Black Dog and Plus Model sets.

I used the resin and photo-etched Hauler update set for the motorcycle. This is particularly effective for the spoked wheels.

The models were painted with the Testor Aztek airbrish fitted with the tan-coloured "Fine" tip.

Base paint is Tamiya acrylic XF-24 Dark Grey. I think it looks about right as a dusty vehicle after weathering, especially in this smaller scale.
