Tamiya's 1/48 scale M26 Pershing is a little jewel of a kit, and MR Models has now turned its attention to adding some more individuality to this powerful tank.

MR's 1/48 scale M26 Pershing detail set comprises 24 pieces in in grey coloured resin plus a replacement turned metal gun barrel.

Amongst the most interesting items are a replacement gun mantlet, appliqué armour for the glacis plate and a covered .50 cal machine gun.

The other parts  include covered spare road wheels, various boxes (wooden crates, ammo containers, food boxes etc), canvas bags and bedrolls.

Casting quality is very good, with no pin holes or other casting imperfections in my sample. There is a list of parts and three photos of the assembled model with the resin parts labeled and shown in place. This should be quite effective as an instruction guide.

MR Models' M26 M26 Pershing Update and Stowage set will be heartily welcomed by 1/48 scale modellers of Allied subjects.
