Saracen Update and Conversion Sets

The latest releases from ITA3 have been timed to coincide with Airfix's impressive new 1/35 scale Alvis Saracen armoured car.

The range comprises three sets:

• ITA335110 Saracen Exterior Detail Set,

• ITA335111 Alvis Saracen Turret and Crew Weapons Set, and

• ITA335112 C238 Ammunition Box Set.

The Saracen Exterior Detail Set supplies a wealth of finely printed replacement fittings that will allow modellers to take Airfix's already excellent kit to the next level. Standout items include the Chore Horse generator, rear door steps complete with retaining chains, replacement headlamps and the delicate vehicle mirrors.

The Turret and Crew Weapons Set is equally useful, containing three L1A1 Self-Loading Rifles (SLRs/FNs), two Sterling sub-machine guns, a .30 cal Browning with its turret mount, and a 7.62 mm GPMG with its corresponding mount. The detail and printing quality are excellent throughout.

Completing the trio is the C238 Ammunition Box Set, comprising five crisply printed ammunition boxes suitable for a variety of British military vehicle and diorama projects.

All three sets are beautifully designed and printed, offering simple but effective upgrades for Airfix's Saracen while also providing useful accessories for many other British military vehicle subjects. Highly recommended.
