Sd.Kfz. 250 & 251 Radio EquipmentEduard 1/35 scaleReviewed by Brett Green Summary
FirstLook Eduard’s latest accessory offerings are in their PRINT series. These are 3d printed resin parts with additional photo-etched enhancements.
Eduard expanded its PRINT series to include military subjects. This time we will take a look at two recent sets aimed at 1:35 scale German WWII interior equipment. They are both for 1:35 scale APC radio sets, the first being for an Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf.D and the second being for the smaller Sd.Kfz. 250. The Sd.Kfz 250 is designed for the Takom kits while the Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D is for Border Models’ kit.
Both of the sets are packed inside a clear plastic box. The resin parts were attached to the bottom of the box with double-sided tape. Both radio sets have detailed painted faces with raised and recessed detail.
In addition to the main radio parts, Eduard also includes two styles of headset, auxiliary box and small details. The 3d printing is perfectly done for both sets. Removal and clean-up will be fast and easy.
Instructions are included for both sets.
C o n c l u s i o n Both these upgrades will be very useful to German half-track builders. Recommended. Thanks to Eduard for the samples www.eduard.com
