Steel Trash Bins

This is a small accessory set, ideal for modern dioramas and post-apocalyptic landscape-style modelling.

The kit contains two standard domestic-looking bins. You might want to simplify the lids by sanding them smooth and adding a pressed-metal handle, in the fashion of the metal bins commonly seen during the 1970s and 1980s.

Also included are two larger wheely bins, or steel waste containers, which are hot-dip galvanised and have a real-life capacity of 1,100 litres.

These types of large waste containers can be seen in photographs, in this particular case on British Army bases in Germany (and presumably in other parts of the world), making them ideal for BAOR dioramas featuring the latest Airfix Saracen and Stalwart, amongst many other modern modelling themes.

The models themselves go together with satisfying ease.

The only thing I would suggest is using super glue to attach the various thin plastic handles to the large wheeled bins.
