Having already given Missing-Lynx readers an exclusive first look at the latest ScaleX release fresh from the box, we thought we'd follow up with a selection of images showcasing several of the major sub-assemblies and early dry-fitted components.

These photos offer a much clearer appreciation of the kit's engineering, overall construction, and the way this impressive large-scale model comes together.

Assembly of the ScaleX Burrell is refreshingly straightforward, although frequent dry fitting of parts and sub-assemblies is strongly recommended to ensure everything aligns perfectly before reaching for the glue.

As with any finely detailed 3D-printed kit, a little extra care is needed when removing the smaller, more delicate components from their print supports.

The resin is slightly brittle, and the tiniest parts have an unfortunate habit of launching themselves into the modelling void if handled with too much enthusiasm.
